The DesignBOX was co-founded by Architects Shilpa Kabra and Rajat Kabra in 2012. Shilpa enjoys the challenges that lie in details. Her mantra is “Detail is what makes the design.” Having done masters in advanced architectural design from Oxford and inherited the fine nuances of design from Talati and Panthaky Associates, her interest for fine details encouraged her inclination towards interior design.

Rajat likes to innovate and experiment. He believes “Design leads to innovation and innovation demands design.” Being a quick learner that he is, Rajat jumped through the ranks only to become the youngest associate at MQA. He has more than 7 years of experience in design and execution of architectural works at MQA. Leading a team of almost 15 people he has evidently completed many projects across India including a couple of award-winning ones as well. Their list of clients include actors, directors, editing studios. The practice has done architectural projects with eminent builders, their show flats and residences as well.
